Membership - Uniform Package*​

First Year

• Includes an at-large appointed title with one (1) non-transferable membership/competition entry.

• A Custom DWP crown as describe in each Enter - competition page/area (national competition w/state or regional title; world competition w/country/heritage/region title) section (e.g., 3" adjustable band state crown).

• A Superior satin sash (state/region/country, contestant sashes do not include rhinestones).

• A Dr. World ® Productions crystal stoned shirt (e.g., "Because ... Smart is Beautiful" or Dr. World ® fitted women's t-shirt).

• A Certificate of Achievement reflecting assigned title.

Returning Year/s​

• * Returning members may prefer a deduction from fees and only receive a title sash and certificate

 

Membership - Impact and Recognition

• Publicity. Personalized Facebook announcement/s and press release, as well as exposure on the Dr. World Productions (DWP) social media and website. (See Application for more details).

• President's Volunteer Service Award Program (PVSA). Dr. World Productions is an official PVSA Certifying Organization. The White House/Points of Light program requires documented U.S. citizenship to be provided. This is not a DWP rule, but it must be followed to remain a PVSA Certifying Organization. DWP only recognizes Gold levels. To qualify, an active contestant/titleholder (e.g., Dr. Kentucky America 2023,can submit hours for 2023) must have the ability to submit documented/verifiable hours using the DWP tracking form toward an individual PVSA Gold (a minimum of 500 volunteer hours during calendar year) or the annual Dr. World Productions' Team PVSA Gold award for active titleholders (a minimum of100 volunteer hours during calendar year). Hours may not be combined. For an individual to qualify for both Gold awards (individual & Team), the individual must have 600 documented/verifiable volunteer hours during the calendar year. The DWP tracking form and additional rules may be obtained from the DWP Director.

• Divisional Optional Awards. All contestants (sans TOQ) will be eligible for the individual divisional recognition during crowning ceremony and certificate of recognition. The three awards in each competition division (e.g., Dr. America, Ms. Achievement World) are Academic Achievement, Career Achievement, & Community Engagement.

• Divisional Competition Awards. The highest score in each competition area will be recognized and receive a certificate of recognition (e.g., Best in Field Presentation, Best in Eveningwear/Introduction, Most Photogenic, and Best in Interview).

• Spirit of Pageantry Award Plaque (from Pageantry Magazine). All contestants (sans TOQ) will be considered for the annual award. Normally, there are two (2) awards per year. One (1) recipient representing the Ms. Achievement pageant/s (July) and (1) recipient representing the Dr. Pageants (October).

• Entry into the annual Dr. World Productions' Optional recognition competitions. Annually, Dr. World Productions awards one Community Leader of the Year, one Mentor of the Year, and one Educator of the Year.

  • One individual in each category will be selected from all DWP competitions and divisions.

  • If selected as an award recipient, a certificate of achievement will be provided as well as a small gift.

  • The individual/s may proudly add this distinction to their CV/resume.

 

Membership - Professional Development & Growth

• Training and Mentoring Opportunities. Contestants/members may participate in the Dr. World Productions' virtual mentoring training/professional development events.

• Opportunities to Network. All contestants/members will be asked to join the Dr World Productions - Members Facebook Group. Quarterly, virtual meetings are held. In addition, others share events and other opportunities to collaborate or support events.

 

Membership - Notes

• Not all applicants are inducted.

• An at-large title membership reign begins the day title and membership is awarded until December 31 of the competition year (e.g., Dr. Kentucky U.S.A. 2023 title ends December 31, 2023 - unless there is a violation to the rules, regulations, etc. as outlined in the Application). 

• Not all inductees/members may renew (e.g., violation of the rules, regulations, etc. as clearly outlined in the Application, etc.).
